Job Orders in the Market Grows, Rises in June – REC
Based on the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the staff and employment increased in number this June.
The most sought profession is in the engineering and construction area. They have already given a certain affirmation about the regular placement of their staffs. It only means that the service industry increases in growth. However, the growth this month can be determined with the sluggish back from the first two quarter of the year.
On REC reports, they said that a large number of people are available and looking for permanent jobs or even for temporary works. People had developed their fears about the UK’s new government. There are some speculations that the government will reduce their people who are under the public employments.
For the Chief Executive of REC, Kevin Green, this scenario is a good sign that the job market at this moment is in its stable level. Knowing that the engineering and construction sectors, grows rapidly. They have the prediction that over 600,000 people can lose their jobs in the public sector. At this point, it is really hard to recognize what will be the effect of this for the job creation, as the main concern in the private sector.
With the help of Bernard Brown of the KPMG in the research, he believed that the private sector is capable of absorbing the jobs and the people. He stated that the big challenge is the transfer of those jobs to the private sector with the help of outsourcing and divestment of assets.
This is a survey result of 400 recruitment agencies and employment consultancies; wherein earlier this week a report of a large number of unemployment for new graduates is on a record.
The major concern for the government is finding appropriate work or jobs for almost a million of youth who are unemployed. For them, the unemployment of the youth in this generation is the most vital issues that are pressing UK at this moment. The government needs to come out for a solution to this problem.
