Tucson victim arrested on alleged treat
Tucson shooting victim, James Eric Fuller, was arrested on disorderly conduct and threatening behavior charges after he threatened a local conservative activist leader.
The Tucson victim was taken out of the area where a television taping happened. He was ordered to undergo a mental evaluation after he threatened Mr. Trent Humpries of the Tea Party political movement.
The clash occurred during a town hall meeting coordinated by ABC News, at St Odilia Catholic Church. The event was organized to discuss the after effects of the shootings. Two of the shooting victims attended on the event.
Mr. Fuller, 63, is one of the 13 injured victims in Tucson shooting. The man stood up after he became upset on Humphries opposition on gun control, he suggested it to be delayed until all of the dead victims got buried.
The man then took a picture of the Tea Party leader and said “You are dead” as his threat.
According to former Republican Congressman Jim Kolbe, he noted that Fuller was apparently look more emotional about the issue at the town hall that anyone else.
Sheriff ‘s department spokesman Jason Ogan said that charges for threats, disorderly conduct, intimidation were filed against Mr. Fuller by the Pima County Attorney’s office. He added that it is really up for the Tea Party leader’s decision if he wanted to push the prosecution.
Authorities said that after the incident, Fuller will be held for almost 72 hours for observation on his condition at the hospital.
In a commentary and news program Democracy now, reported at the same day before Fuller was arrested, the man experienced to be stayed up more at nights after he was released in the hospital and seems that he was still suffering a trauma at the massive shooting event that made him injured.
